Body By Milk and Adidas: The T-Shirt Contest

For some reason, t-shirt design contests run by large companies tend to be kind of a mixed bag. Either the results are tremendous, or the results are damn near terrifying. If professional designers are doing the judging, it usually results in a nice shirt. Add in a public vote, though, and the worst of the bunch are almost guaranteed to succeed.

Gosh, that sounds kind of elitist! It totally is, but it’s also kind of true. And anyone who thinks I’m being unfair to large corporations, this is a golden opportunity to prove me wrong!

Right now Body By Milk and Adidas have teamed up to create a t-shirt design contest. All you have to do is create a cool shirt that uses the logos of both companies. Then, upload your work and voters will determine your fate. If you win, you’ll be flown out to Portland to meet with Adidas designers. You’ll also get to see your design produced nationally.

If you are willing to risk a public vote, enter your work in the contest within the next 18 days. But please, before you take the time to do that, take a look at the current top ten. It’s not a pretty sight.
