Threadless’s Strange 80s design contest

Nostalgia gets weird in Threadless‘s new Strange 80s design competition. Here’s what they’re looking for…

What does “Strange ‘80s” mean to you? Stylistically campy horror? Neon pastels and futuristic vibes? Coming-of-age sci-fi? For this challenge, we want you to combine ‘80s music vibes with whatever the term “Strange ‘80s” brings to mind for you – and all for a good cause!

The proceeds will benefit mental health organizations through Charity Bomb’s donations. Charity Bomb is a nonprofit that puts on benefit shows in support of charitable organizations. Formed by four philanthropic friends who have each made a name for themselves in the music & philanthropy world – musicians Matthew & Nathan Leone, acclaimed songwriter Nik Frost, and entrepreneur Ryan Ford – Charity Bomb is using music as a force for good to help those who need it.Fly your freak flag for mental health and create a design that embodies everything “Strange ‘80s”!

The winning design will be decided by Talinda Bennington (wife of Chester Bennington) and all artists performing at CB’s Strange ‘80s event this fall, and will be featured in the Charity Bomb Artist Shop, where the proceeds will go towards mental health organizations.

Enter before September 18th, 2018 for your chance to win. One winner will earn a VIP Package for 2 (balcony seating, open bar, official event t-shirt, meet & greet with artists), their design showcased at the event, a guitar signed by all the participating stars, a Strange 80s II poster signed by the participating stars, shout outs on social media, their winning design added to the Charity Bomb Artist Shop as a fundraiser, and a $250 Threadless gift code.
