Shirt.Woot’s America the BeauTEEful derby voting highlights

Preparing early for July 4th, Shirt.Woot‘s America the BeauTEEful derby offered many takes on American patriotism, both sincere and humorous. This is heavily trodden ground for Woot since they do a large collection of themed shirts on this subject every year, but there are still a lot of fresh takes on the topic to be found. Here’s a look at two current voting underdogs that I think could use some more attention…

Keep America Weird by benjaminleebates understands that while America is home of George Washington, armies, and a whole bunch of history, we also have stuff like the world’s biggest ball of twine.

Little Georgie by ApeLad is a pretty unlikely mashup of Little Ceasar’s pizza and George Washington, but mascots and marketing are extremely American, so it also feels pretty right. Plus, the Freedom! Freedom! slogan is inspired!

This derby continues through Thursday at noon. The top three vote-getters will each earn $1000 cash and $2 per item sold. Additionally, other designs will be selected and sold for $2 per item each. Both top vote-getters and selected designs will be sold in a future Plus sale.
