Threadless’s Court of the Dead design contest

threadless court of the dead

Threadless‘s latest themed design contest is all about Court of the Dead, a dark afterlife-themed franchise from Sideshow Collectibles. Here’s a quick taste of what they’re looking for (much more information is available at Threadless):

The Court of the Dead is a dark fantasy universe that will subvert your expectations about who the heroes are… and what they should look like. Only Death and his Court of the Dead can put an end to the savage war between Heaven and Hell that is eating up mortal souls.

Sideshow is known worldwide for its museum-quality pop culture collectibles. The Court of the Dead is our debut original property. We’re creating a world, and we’re excited to invite you to build it with us. And, of course, the finest architects will reap some amazing rewards.

Enter before November 18th, 2016 for your chance to win. One winner will earn $1000 shopping spree at Sideshowtoy.com, a Court of the Dead prize pack (including the Chronicle of the Underworld hardcover book, exclusive pins and more), $1000 cash and a $500 Threadless gift code. Additionally, all designers printed will earn $1 minimum per item sold (learn more about Threadless artist payments).

Hello, I really love the concept for “The Court of the Dead.” Anyway, I am confused about a few things regarding this competition. Firstly, the other link said November 18th was the last day to submit, but this link says November 11. What is the real deadline for this competition? Secondly, are entrees to be made primarily for shirt prints. If so, are there any color limits and what are they?

Hi Gerrell- Thanks for the heads up on the submission deadline, looks like Threadless extended it since the contest was originally posted. Since this is a Threadless contest, their site should always be trusted to have the most accurate and extensive information. I’m just reporting based on what they’ve provided 🙂 Here’s that link again, and I’d recommend posting in the Threadless forums if you have questions for Threadless staff: https://www.threadless.com/cotd/
