Camiseteria’s Music is the Way 2.0

camiseteria music is the way

Music is the Way 2.0 by Báda interprets an iconic image in a new way by changing the perspective and showing that there’s more to the story. Even better, the first thing you notice (due to the size and proportions of the shapes) is the piano keys, so that Abbey Road reference is a nice surprise. It goes from a bold graphic about a piano, a symbol of music, and transforms into an ode to a specific group, the most famous band on the planet. It’s a neat transition, a surreal moment that ought to resonate with most audiences. And there’s also a lot of skill in this illustration, which manages to nail the musician likenesses despite the difficult angle. Rough edges and light distressing give the keys a look that feels right for pavement, and shadows inject just enough dimensionality to make both halves (keys and walkers) read realistically.

Camiseteria winners earn R$800 cash and R$500 in Camiseteria products.
