Shirt.Woot Derby #785: Fantasy Literature

Shirt.Woot‘s latest derby theme might put a spell on you…

Starting Monday at 8PM CST: Derby #785: Fantasy Literature

This weeks theme is…well…obviously…Fantasy Literature. Your clue is in the title. Your design does not have to be about a fantasy story that already exists, you can make something up. But the elements of your design should be things that are widely accepted as being part of fantasy literature…ya know, dragons, wizards, magic, that kind of thing.

If you are going to use something that exists as your starting point, just make sure its not infringing on copyrights, trademarks or any other protected IP. Fan art is acceptable.

This derby begins Monday at 8pm CST and continues through the following Monday at 8pm. Three designs (determined by votes and editor input) will be printed as daily offers on Tuesday through Thursday and earn $1000 and $2 per item sold after the first day of sales. Other designs may be selected for a Plus sale, with each selected design earning $2 per item sold.

Shirt.Woot’s Tattoo Style derby voting highlights

From old school and traditional to new school and pop culture, Shirt.Woot‘s Tattoo Style derby has a bit of everything people might like to get inked on their skin. Here’s a look at two current voting underdogs that I think could use some more attention…

Dead Inside by andremuller merges tattoo style with retro cartooning, and I love the humorous touch of that hand peeking out from the coffin.

RPG Sloth by TaylorRoss1 offers a relatable alternative to good, evil, or neutral.

This derby continues through Monday at 8pm. The top three designs (determined by votes and editor input) will earn $1000 cash and $2 per item sold. Additionally, other designs may be selected for future plus sales and sold for $2 per item each.

Shirt.Woot Derby #784: Tattoo Style

Subject matter is up for grabs, because style is what matters with the latest Shirt.Woot derby theme…

Starting Monday at 8PM CST: Derby #784: Tattoo Style

The content is your choice, but your artwork must be drawn in a tattoo style. Traditional, tribal, new school or blackwork – the tattoo style you use is also up to you.

Just make sure there is no Halloween, no politics, its not on a cream shirt and also no cats.

Shirt.Woot’s That’s Life derby voting highlights

Things people say were the subject of Shirt.Woot‘s That’s Life derby, so as you’d expect slogans (especially those with humor) are proving quite popular. Here’s a look at two current voting underdogs that I think could use some more attention…

The Mondayest Day Ever by TaylorRoss1 stars a perfectly grumpy (and very relatable) red panda.

Whatever Will Be, Will Be by Spiritgreen hits just the right retro tone for its appealingly corny dad joke.

This derby continues through Monday at 8pm. The top three designs (determined by votes and editor input) will earn $1000 cash and $2 per item sold. Additionally, other designs may be selected for future plus sales and sold for $2 per item each.

Shirt.Woot’s Editor’s Choice: Video Game collection

Pop culture references and current events got high scores in Shirt.Woot’s Editor’s Choice: Video Game plus sale. Here’s what caught my eye this week…

Best of the Bunch: Love the Gaming Life by BignellArt feels like an instant classic with its references to legendary gaming items.

Nicest Surprise: Visit the Water Levels by LPyne makes a frustrating game environment into an epic vacation destination.

Shirt(s) I Am Most Biased About: My design 2020 Game Over makes the year into a frustrating game while Doomed? Vote turns the look of a famous video game logo into a message about participating in politics.

This promotion will only last until 11:59 p.m. on Thursday. So if there’s something you like, grab it fast!

I like cream shirts.
I like politics.

This derby begins Monday at 8pm CST and continues through the following Monday at 8pm. Shirt.Woot’s Sci-Fi derby voting highlights

Pop culture performed especially well in Shirt.Woot‘s Sci-Fi derby, with references to Star Wars leading the charge. Slogans and general references to the genre are also in the mix, though, so don’t be afraid to take a look even if you’re not a Jedi. Here’s a look at two current voting underdogs that I think could use some more attention…

Food Web by LPyne is deliciously original, and I love the way an organic-looking fox lurks in the shadows.

Beam Me Up by coddesigns does a great job with its transparent beam effect- I really like how one of the circle shapes does double-duty by being placed where the dog’s eye would be.

This derby continues through Monday at 8pm. The top three designs (determined by votes and editor input) will earn $1000 cash and $2 per item sold. Additionally, other designs may be selected for future plus sales and sold for $2 per item each.
